This post is a sound off about Danielle from the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
If you haven’t been watching the awesomeness that is the RHO NJ – you need to. It makes for a lovely bit of enjoyment and helps get your mind off the rest of reality. It’s pretty evident from last season that she’s a bit bat crazy. Yes, she obviously has a past, but still, she’s bat crazy!!! After last week’s episode – I was appalled by her. She went from bat crazy to just….I don’t even know the word.
Now, I’m not a mother, but I can tell when someone needs a little help in that department. Actually, I think most normal humans could. I watched how her daughter, Christine, went and sparked up a modeling career. Sure, she’s pretty and tall and thin. But it just seemed like she fell into it. But she rocked the shoot. I was more stunned by Danielle. She sat on the sidelines, watching (fine). She took pictures (great!) but then, she started talking to the photog and next thing you know she’s in full hair and makeup and standing up alongside her daughter and gets her own damn feature in the magazine.
REALLY? I mean. Really? I’m sorry, you should learn to let your child have the spotlight and not try to weasel your way in there and make it all about you.
And then there’s the luncheon. In the beginning you think that she’s setting it up to show off her daughter. Well, that is true. Just one problem. Her daughter WASN’T THERE. She wasn’t invited. Who does that???? Even her daughter knows how she is. Talking about her mom wants to be all braggy brag. But still. WOW.
Then there was tonight’s episode. Her daughter was in a runway show and she went and had “two and a half” lessons for walking. She stood at the end of the lesson runway and just stared at her daughter, giving her tips and pointers. I half expected her to ask to be IN the runway. Thankfully, she wasn’t. lol
But I just can’t seriously wonder how her children are half normal. Because, they are. I watch them, see their interviews, and they’re completely aware of how their mother is. Sure, they’re still a bit bratty but overall, a bit more normal on the spectrum.
So tune in. and provide your own thoughts!
