So behind. I have all these things I keep needing to blog. And do. And create. Hmmm. Just not enough hours in the day. First I have blogs that are running around in my mind and photos that are in iPhoto that need to make its way on here. Like No Doubt. And Gwen’s Abs. And Ann’s work. Who’s Ann? Well Ann is a girl I’ve met before in the land of cyberspace and she’s good times. And also a free-lance makeup artist. And when you go see No Doubt, you get Dressed Up. So she came to our hotel and rocked our makeup. She’s amazing. And available! not sure if she wants her email all over the place – but leave me a comment (include your email address when filling out the form) and I’ll send it to you.
What else. Oh, well, my friend Jen, getting married in May, has been teaching me more tricks with Adobe Illustrator. I use it for Bling Divas to manipulate the letters to ensure they’re thick enough for the crystals. And I used it to create my logo/header for this blog. And then last night I used it to work on creating the background and header for my friend’s blog. But the most fun I’ve had with it is working on some things for me, and for christmas gifts. When they’re done, I’ll post! But in the meantime, you’ll need to wait :o)
So, BACK to the post. Cupcakes! Jen had a comp day this past Monday and I was jealous and decided to take the day off too. We started off with some chitter chatter about the items she’s been collecting for her wedding. Beautiful crystals and fabrics and trims OH MY!
We then went to Pasadena to Paper-Source and saw cute things for her wedding invitations. I love that store. I swear I need to own my own office supply store. LOL. Then we had lunch at yummy Teru Sushi on Ventura. I always get the same 2 things at my local sushi joint. But this time I let Jen pick. And she done good.
Then one thing led to another and I decided to stay for dinner. And helping in the task of cupcakes! Here’s pics to show what we did….
Excuse the no makeup look…it was our day off!
Do ours look like theirs?
And Jen had those cute boxes and packed up 4 for me to take home for Jon. They were so yum!
