Bon Affair sent me a sample of their new wine spritzer. All anecdotes & opinions are mine. You should keep reading, sometimes I like to be funny. Interested in buying some to try out? Be sure to check for a link at the bottom of this post.
It’s no secret that I like to enjoy an adult beverage from time to time. I post about it on my Twitter account, Instagram feed, heck even this blog. So when a rep from Bon Affair contacted me about a new line of beverages, I jumped on the offer! Bon Affair is an All-Natural Wine Spritzer, available at Whole Foods. There are two varities – Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah (I was provided with the Sauvignon Blanc, but I’m super intrigued about the Syrah!) and they contain 6.5% Alcohol as well as Electrolytes. Say whaaaaat? Yes, the story behind this beverage is quite a read. Here’s a sample (and check out the rest of the story on their site!)
Meet Jayla Siciliano – She credits friends at Diesel and Burton for inspiring Bon Affair. As a product specialist for those global brands, happy hour was an essential job skill. Jayla loved it—until one trip to Hong Kong.
So you probably want to know what is in this awesome bottle. First, a video I posted on Instagram…
As you can see, it looks like champagne, reminds me of champagne, but really it’s vino! It has a great light taste, and was quite delicious. I’m serious about my wine and this I can stand behind. And the bottle? Sexy packaging! I’m a sucker for great presentation and this fit the bill.
Some additional fun facts:
- A California Wine
- Contains half the calories of regular wine
- No sugars added
- Contains Electrolytes
- Made with purified carbonated water
So if you and your girlfriends are looking for something new and exciting to try, hit up your local Whole Foods and grab a bottle! If you grab the Syrah, please let me know what you thought! And feel free to give some love to Bon Affair with their social media sites – they are really responsive, another thing I love from companies!
Please be responsible when drinking, and please note this post should be for those 21 and over! Never drink and drive. It’s just stupid.
