Before we head out on any vacation, I like to clean up as best we can. There’s nothing worse than coming home, exhausted, to a dirty house. And, if you’re like us, the day of packing rush is insane and you quickly run out of time to do ANYTHING, especially cleaning. And who really wants to add more time going back and forth grabbing different cleaners to clean all.the.things? Not me! I like a multi-use product to get things #InstaClean and Windex® helps make that possible.
During my usual grocery trip to Kroger (Ralphs on the west coast) I grabbed some of the multi-surface products for this #CollectiveBias shop along with the lemon scent Pledge® polishing cleaner. Remember when I wrote about how we like to have the kids complete chores that are age appropriate? Well cleaning is no different. While I don’t have the kids actually use any cleaning products to help tidy up, I do encourage them to grab a towel and help wipe down the surfaces they can reach. Later on, when they’re older and stop putting everything in their mouths, we’ll add some actual products into the routine.
Luke loves wiping down his high chair, the floor, windows, tv stand – he’s really going to be a great help in the future! Using the Windex® Multi-surface cleaner you can go from your counters, to your windows, to appliances! I can’t tell you how many tiny finger prints I found on our dishwasher. What is it with that appliance that just attracts tiny tots?
By this point, I lost Luke’s attention. Mommy’s Little Helper I guess only survives a few minutes of cleaning fun. Well, “fun.” But he is always there to help with windows. We have a huge sliding door that separates our office & family living room. We keep it closed in the evenings to help keep the kids away from my computer since that is also a toddler magnet! Luke was ready to have a throw down fit until I told him it was time to clean. And then, his frown turned upside down and he was ready to help!
Once we were done there was one more thing he wanted to help with, putting my camera’s tripod away 🙂
