**We’re going to be postponing this until January. There was a lot of excitement for the class, but the date is proving to be a bit challenging for folks to attend. So what better way to start off 2014 than creating your goals for the year! Stay tuned!**
I might have forgotten to update y’all on the blog front – but I have a new adventure!! I’m now a partner for the awesome group SoCal Lady Bloggers! There are more than 400 of us in this group, and Carolyn West had been handling all of the website and networking portions. I met her last year, before BlogHer, since she’s local to SCV just like me! Since then we’ve met up a few times (even hitched a ride to the Lifestyle Bloggers conference this past spring in Downtown LA) and I really felt I needed to more than a blogger in this group.
I talked to her about it, and of course prefaced that I know I’m sort of a stranger to her, so we decided to just play things out for a bit. But, that was a little while ago, and now we’ve decided to make things official. Look, I’m even on the site’s about page!
Boom. We’re moving forward with a few projects, one being a re-branding which we’re both VERY excited about. A new venture is setting up workshops to help bloggers learn more, grow more. As our tagline says – Share. Support. Succeed. And that’s what we’re ready to do.
One of our first blogging workshops will be October 27th at the Burbank Gordon Biersch brewery.
The workshop features Melissa Reyes, of Miz Meliz, who will be helping bloggers set goals for their site, and offer tips on staying organized. Melissa is a certified Life Coach and blogger. It’s open for any blogger, small business owner, non-blogger who wants to learn about setting up goals and staying organized. The price of your ticket includes lunch! So please visit the link, tell your friends, and can’t wait to see you there!
This Just In!
Just heard from Melissa that she will be offering up to one lucky attendee ad 6 week Life Coaching session with her! Valued at $300! Amazing!!! Make sure to grab your seat today!
