Meal Planning – Thanksgiving Week

When I was coming back from St. Louis, I had a lot of time to sit and be still. I wrote a lot of plans out for 2015 and one of them was outlining my meal planning menu each week.  I have my Meal Planning for Newbies board and my recipes board with dishes I’ve tried and want to try.  I write out my meals and shopping list each Sunday and will record everything here as well.

So for this week, being Thanksgiving, it’s a bit different with the planning. Since I know we’ll be enjoying a lot of the traditional meats, I want to mix in some other options throughout the week. And I really want to work hard to try 1 dish I’ve pinned and let you know how it goes.  So here’s this week’s plan!

Sunday – Pioneer Woman’s Bowtie Pasta

Monday – One Pot Paprika Chicken

One Pot Paprika Chicken

Tuesday – Chicken Piccata

Wednesday – Chicken Nuggets, Mac n Cheese

Thursday – {Thanksgiving} – ham, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, stuffing

Friday – Thanksgiving Again – ham

Saturday – Whole Roasted Chicken, Brussels Sprouts, Wild Rice

Sunday – Pot Roast with Potatoes & Carrots

This is one of my 2015 goals after Wells Fargo’s little graph showed me how much we spend on eating at restaurants and fast food….this doesnt include the $100/week that the hubby and I get for “spending money” which he usually uses on eating out for lunch!! Eeeeek! It CANNOT be healthy either! 🙂 So I am going to follow your lead and motivation to get this ball rolling for 2015!
