Is it true?

Is a clutter-free house a stress-free house? Um, I’d never know. I’ve been a clutter-bug my whole life. I can’t help it. I love things and haven’t lived in a place big enough to store them all ๐Ÿ™‚

But, after living in our 400 sq foot guesthouse for 2 1/2 years (which was swarmed with wedding DIY projects, gifts, school books, papers, and 4 guitars…) DH made me swear that when we had a bigger place, that everything had to HAVE a place.

That’s a challenge. But, I’ve tackled it fairly well. Luckily the coat closet was turned into an extra pantry so that has helped a LOT. Our office has been used wisely. I have room for school books, craft projects, side projects, and DH has room for his guitars and desk. That’s all he is concerned about. So, this saturday I’m hosting a tupperware party….that is hosted by a drag queen. She is HILARIOUS. I’m having 20+ people in our house and it’s the first time we really get to show it off. I’ve finished moving all those stubborn little things from the move that just had no where to go – but the floor.

Here’s some pics of my..I mean our… office.

Shadowbox monogram, DIY french memo board, ikea cubby with lots of projects stored…and Hops & YoYo!

ikea desk w/white metal topper, pink chair, garter tossed on engagement frame, and post-its. Love my post-its

Looks great Melissa!! I wish I had a bigger place to store and organize my stuff, but I might have to wait til I get married to do those things as well ๐Ÿ˜‰

Girly – we need you at our place to help organize. Ever since I’ve been with the hubby I’ve taken on his clutter habit. I used to be a neat freak but since living together that has gone out the window. AND it does stress me out!
