Happy Super Bowl Sunday!!! What better way to chat about some tasty treats than on a day when most of America is enjoying some great food while watching a {hopefully} good game!!
While at BlogHer, MJ and I were walking around and found the Hot Pockets booth, with the little Herbie Hot Pocket plus chilling in their booth. Do you know Herbie? Here he is!

Anyways, back to Hot Pockets. I’ve had them before, I’m sure you have too. While pregnant with Aubrey Jon would buy the huge pack for us (me) to enjoy. My all time favorite is ham & cheese. I just love it. But did you know they have expanded beyond the Ham & Cheese and Pepporoni flavors? it’s true!
Pretzel Bread – my new favorite BFF. I scooped up three new flavors to try out – Spinach & Three Cheese, Grilled Jalapeno Cheddar (for Jon – he loves jalapenos), and the Applewood Bacon, Egg & Cheese. I asked Jon to help me out with the taste testing, and he was a little sad. Try out Hot Pockets? Twist his arm! Just kidding, he was super excited and enjoyed the task – possibly a little too much. So here are the Dell reviews on these 3 yummy varieties!
** Spinach & Three Cheese – YUM. This was so good. I loved the cheese and the fact that it’s whole pieces of spinach in there was great. And the pretzel bread? I tweeted how good it was. I think it even crept into my pregnancy dreams. As soon as I removed it from the microwave the aroma just filled the air. And I think I liked the pretzel bread more than the regular bread that wraps the Hot Pockets as it was a bit crispier. No one likes soggy bread! Jon said that this was good, and reminded him of an appetizer. Of course! Spinach dip! I wasn’t even thinking about that. I was thinking I needed more of it.
** Grilled Chicken Jalapeno Cheddar – this review is all Jon. I bought this special for him, as the man loves jalapenos. He said the flavor was spot on, although it could use more heat. As he put it “if you buy something with the word jalapeno in it, you expect it to be hot.” That’s a safe assumption. Which is why I don’t order anything with jalapenos cuz I don’t like the heat.
** Applewood Bacon Egg & Cheese – I kept this for myself 
and glad I did! I ate it while feeding Aubrey and was glad that there wasn’t TOO much cheese – because then it would glob out while I was taking bites. The eggs were fluffy and I enjoyed the bacon pieces mixed in. Glad there are 2 in a box!!

Artichoke Spinach with traditional bread. I didn’t super love the new pretzel bread, but have only tried once. I eat tons of Hot Pockets!!!
So, I read this on my phone this morning before I got out of bed and all I could think about was the bacon egg and cheese! I’ve never had a hot pocket! EEK!

I love Hot Pockets! I think my favorite is a toss up between the meatballs, the ham & cheese, and the chicken & broccoli.
I would love to try the spinach and cheese. I never thought I liked spinach until that horrible, no good spinach and artichoke dip entered my life. I love it. I’m thinking the spinach and cheese Hot Pocket would be perfect for a lunch on the go, which is frequently around my house!
I adore the cheese pizza flavor! Those pretzel bread varieties looks awesome, must try those!
