Today is my husband’s 31st birthday.  We’ve been lucky enough to celebrate 7 years of birthdays together. Some have been more crazy than others (I think this round of our 31st bdays have been, by far, the quietest).  It’s funny how looking back each year we think how great it was. 25 was the year we got engaged – so of course THAT was the best year ever.  But then 26 was when we got married. so THAT was the best year ever. And we bought a house.

But then 29 was the best year ever because we had Aubrey.  And 31 will now be the best year ever cuz we’ll have a little boy to welcome into the group.  Funny how that is, huh? I wonder when we’re old, gray, and hard of hearing, what year will TRULY be the best year.  (And if he wants to score major points, he’ll say every year since being 23 – when we started dating).
