FSIL’s wedding….

So, this past weekend, FSIL (future sister-in-law for those I’m emailing this link to) got married!!!! Her and her FI (fiance) got engaged last year and this was about 11 months in the making.  Her aunt did a lot of the detail work with creating the invites, center pieces, paper products, etc.  FSIL had 6 bridesmaids (3 friends, 2 of fi’s sisters, and me) & 1 MOH (maid of honor) – her cousin. Her FI had 5 groomsmen (4 friends and her brother – my FI) and 2 best men (his brothers). And one flower princess – fsil’s daughter.

The wedding was at the La Canada Flintridge Country Club. Food – amazing. View – amazing. Heat – SUCKED.  It was really hot when we got there. The bridal suite a/c wasn’t working. We all mainly hung outside on the balconey and wandered to the reception area to see how the aunt was doing with all the setup. And, it was air conditioned in there :o)
Everyone looked great and the ceremony was beautiful. I couldn’t stop tearing up before the processional, and fsil was getting mad cuz I was making her cry. Whoops!!! The flower girl princess behaved very well and the sun wasn’t too bad. But I was greatful when the ceremony was over! The shade was awesome. The whole bridal party took some awesome pics with the photog – Andy Kitchen. Him and his assistant were great. I can’t wait to see some of the crazy shots. One includes taking fsil to the bathroom. She looked like a frosted cupcake with just her head poking through all the tafetta, lace, and crinoline from the dress.  FI and I had a great time, and we definitely were hit with the dose of reality that our wedding is next. And every guest we saw were so gracious to remind us of that. Enjoy the pics!!!
