Still Farmer Dells – 1 month recap

It’s been just about a month since we planted our garden and wow! The growth is amazing.  I did add in the last bit of seeds we bought (golden green beans, lettuce, and melon) and those are just starting to sprout up as well.  With Aubrey’s strawberry picking adventure, she’s even more excited for ours that we’re growing.  I just noticed that they’re starting to change from green to red!  Here’s what our garden looked like last month.

And yes, we still have broken sprinklers so I am watering each day. But it’s kind of relaxing.  Our squash is HUGE! The traditional zucchini is double the size of the yellow crooked-neck squash.  Also learning the Roma tomato plants grow slower than the cherry tomato plants which are more than double the size.  I’m sure my next update in a month will include us eating some of our items!
