Craft Cabinet

One of the amazing benefits of Twitter is getting to see new events that folks create. I heard about a networking event last summer and then this summer, while on vacation in Big Bear, I saw a tweet from Andrea about a craft night. whaaaa??. I tweeted back and forth with MJ to see if we would both be free to go. And we were. And the next thing I know – we’re buying tickets.

It’s always an odd thing to purchase a ticket for something new – you never know what to expect. Luckily at this event, Andrea and Jules were true hostesses with the most and had food, drinks and dessert!!! Anyone that knows me knows I’m always up for food. It’s the nursing. Maria and I left the valley early on a Friday afternoon with our Venti Starbucks drinks and ended up in Long Beach with over an hour to spare.

We hit up happy hour at EJ Malloy’s Pub and caught some pre-season football. Then we headed around the block for some crafting!

Salvage Life was the location – a cute vintage shop. I limited myself to purchasing one thing for Aubrey. A little suitcase!!

There were a lot of goodies there. The cupcakes were from Baby Boy Bakery. And they were amazing. I think I tweeted that a few times…

And one thing we were left with was amazing crafting swag! There were also some mini desserts that didn’t make it to the next day. Jon and I devoured them that night ๐Ÿ™‚

Let’s do another craft night!! One at my house so I can use all my goodies. It’s so hard to travel with everything for craft night.

Ooooh! Or a baking night to recreate some of those cupcake yummies!

(I look like a giant in that one pic next to you because of my wedges!!)
