Multi-tasking Mama Looking for Me Time

multi-tasking mama - netflix streaming binge worthy new shows

I'm a member of the Netflix #StreamTeam for 2017 and excited to share stories each month!  This post may contain affiliate links Being a mom to three littles, working full time, and running 2 side hustles (This blog, and Scentsy), I always had to cut down on a lot of tv time.  I'd find myself putting the kids to bed, sitting on one of our comfy recliners, and turn on the tv.  Before I knew it, it was approaching 10pm and I hadn't even made school lunches. It was on those nights that I started to feel overwhelmed with my to-do lists and I knew something had to give. Sadly, it was the tv. Of … [Read more...]

Looking for Snow? Head to Orange County!

where to find snow in socal

This is a sponsored post with Gigasavvy to raise awareness for Winterfest OC.  Check below for a chance to win free tickets! All commentary is courtesy of me! Tis the season to deck the halls and get in the Holiday spirit.  Every day as we drive home from preschool, Aubrey & Luke are in awe of all the homes lit up with Christmas lights and the Christmas tree farm behind our house with the huge inflatable snowmen and nutcrackers.  Since the sun goes down so early (Thanks daylight savings!) they're able to see every decorated home in our neighborhood.  They're also at the age to ask me … [Read more...]

Deck The Halls – Getting Ready for Christmas

deck the halls - getting ready for christmas - the stationery studio

This is a sponsored post - Thank you The Stationery Studio for our Holiday cards! The conclusion of Thanksgiving (and, Ryan's birthday) brings on the decorating and preparing for Christmas in the Dell house!  All last week Aubrey kept asking when Christmas was coming - and when Happy (our elf) was coming.  It's amazing, that at only 5 years old, she already knows how things work around here.   Last year we made the decision to go with an artificial tree and that means we can decorate as soon as our belly's are full of ham (because we're not team turkey over here).  It takes a few days for … [Read more...]

Pamper Sessions On The Go - Sally Hansen and Priv

This post was sponsored by Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs as part of an Activation for Influence Central. I received complimentary products to facilitate my review. Every girl needs a good pamper session before heading out - whether it's with the girls, the husband, or, a bunch of strangers. Strangers?? Eh sort of.  Remember how I ventured down to San Diego and drove around in some cool cars?  Do you remember one of the photos at the end of the night? No? ok hold on. Earlier that day, before my 3+ hour drive to San Diego, I got a little pamper session in to get my makeup done and to turn … [Read more...]

Luke – Growing Up So Fast

This post contains affiliate links Ok so literally a year ago we were shuffling the kids around and preparing for Ryan's arrival.  Luke moved out of the crib and into the same Toddler bed Aubrey used.  Then, for Luke's 3rd birthday, we upgraded his sheet set to one from Paw Patrol and he was a happy camper. So, when we ventured up to Santa Barbara for my mom's birthday celebration, it was his first time sleeping in a twin bed.  I was not prepared and totally thought he'd fall off the bed.  It was taller than his bed, and even taller than what Aubrey was used to.  But, he did amazing and … [Read more...]

Butters’ Adoption Story

Purina Pet Chow - Cat Adoption Story

I have partnered with Purina Cat Chow to participate with the 'Nutrition to Build Better Lives' program. All expressed opinions and experiences are my own words. When I was working on Luke's 3rd birthday post, I had fun going through all the old photos of him throughout his life.  It's funny how you can instantly be transported to that exact moment in which the photo was captured.  It's sort of how you get a bit of nostalgia when those photos and videos come through from years' past.  In almost every reminder of the past years, there are a few photos of Butters.  As the years went on, and we … [Read more...]
