Budget & Accountability {week 6} – #FinancialFriday

Here we are, week 6 of the budget & accountability series.  This will be a short and sweet post. Did you notice anything new in that photo above? We came in under budget!!! We still had the usual gas, but didn’t have any extra purchases, and kept meals at home light so didn’t have a huge grocery bill. We also didn’t need to purchase anything for the kids.  It was a great feeling.  I also went back through my initial calculations for how much we’d be budgeting out for the month and it was $1120. So for this last week, we could possibly swing being under budget overall.

Which brings me to the next purpose of this series – I completed a monthly recap for you to keep and see how you’re doing throughout the year.  It’s a free download for your personal use. So I do hope you enjoy! Since April is the first month we’ll be having all weeks accounted for – that will be the first one I fill out!  So enjoy, and stay accountable!

Wow this is such a great series! Congrats on being under! I need to start doing this because my spending is a little …let’s say not under control. Everything is for the baby (let’s not mention my recent baby gap purchase that was more than I spend on clothes for me.) lol
