Email me – hello @ melissadell.com
I’m a Los Angeles based blogger, mom to Aubrey (October 2011), Luke (June 2013), and Ryan (November 2015) and have been a wife to Jon since October 2008. I’m not shy, I love meeting new people, and I love chatting with other women on Twitter. Here’s more of my blogging story!
I started blogging before it was cool, and used it as an online journal. I type faster than I can hand write and I figured since I talk faster than the average, my poor hand would get too tired with a traditional journal. Plus, heaven forbid, someone find it. But now, many years later, many domains later, many blog designs later, I’m here, in my own space, writing about everything. Like most women, I always seem to have about 4 different hats I’m juggling. I’m a wife and mother first. Jon and I were married in Santa Barbara, CA October 18, 2008. We went to high school with each other, but didn’t discover our love until after college. We have had our fair share of struggles, including infertility and miscarriage prior to having Aubrey. She is our light and brought us back to our faith in God. She was born in October, 2011 – 4 days before our 3rd anniversary. Luke was a wonderful gift to us and was born in June 2013.
In addition to running this blog, I also have a full time job working in staffing and HR and my — the stories I could tell! I also started Bling Diva Designs in 2009 and have been blinging wedding cake toppers ever since. Some creative endeavors have also included covering KitchenAid mixers in over 8000 Swarovski Crystals for bakers across the world. You’ll have to check out my work on Instagram! My passion is being around other creative people. I love meeting other moms, small business owners, and bloggers.
And a huge part of my passion is keeping up with these women online. So check out my sidebar on the right and would love to hear from you! And if you’re a brand interested in working with me, please feel free to check out the type of sponsored content I provide in an authentic story telling manner with my readers!
